This course points beyond the conditioned stillness that can result from practicing meditation to the deeper stillness that lies in our nature as awareness and in the nature of the heart as connected. This six-week series will point out the essence of mind as awareness, explore recognizing and being that awareness, and talk about how to become stable in awareness. At the same time, it will also point to the intelligence of the heart and the embodiment of awareness. Each class will include 30 minutes of guided meditation, a talk, and a period of dialogue. Those who maintain a regular meditation during the course will receive the most benefit from the teachings.
